Hello! My name is Maya Puyat and I’m an illustrator and animator based in the greater Philadelphia area.

I believe art is play and like to incorporate themes from childhood into my work. The subjects I draw from come from a place of nostalgia and are usually memories that have brought me comfort.

Recently I’ve worked on projects featured at the Joyce Theater, PBS, and the LA Times. I’m currently creating work for an upcoming exhibition and I hope you’ll stick around to see it!
